Playing the Roundhouse

There is less than a week left to see the Roundhouse mic’d up to an organ as a part of David Byrne’s installation ‘Playing the Building’. The installation converts the main hall of the roundhouse (easily one of my favourite venues in London by the way) into a giant instrument by attached a series of wires to the pipes, walls and balconies that make up the room. When someone gets up to play – you are filled with as sense of anticipation and excitement as the building creaks and groans.

The last day to check it out is August 31st, so make sure you get over there this weekend!
