JR & The INSIDE OUT project

Last Fall, TED in an unexpected move, granted the $100,000 TEDPrize to the Parisian street artist JR.
Known for his large-scale graffiti murals tackling social justice and human rights issues like freedom and identity, the 27-year-old artist appeared on the TED stage last week to show off some of his work and to introduce the Inside Out Project.

The Inside Out Project is an ambitious global collaborative art initiative, and an inspired experiment in civic engagement through art. Individuals are encouraged to upload a portrait to the website. They will then be sent a poster of the image that they can then paste up for the world to see.
If you want to get involved check out the Inside Out website.
