Last night I went to check out Baths (AKA Will Wisenfeld), the amazing emotional beatmaker at Cargo.
The L.A based producer has had an absolutely explosive year with his recent release Cerulean (Anticon) now on its 3rd 1000 copy pressing, and last night proved why.
A keen musician from childhood, Wisenfeld was trained classically as a pianist from age four to twelve before making his first recording using Digital Performer and a MIDI keyboard at thirteen. It was around this time he discover Bjork, marking the beginning of foray into the world of electronic computer based music.
If you haven’t heard of him yet go check out the video for his track “Lovely Bloodflow” now.
